We are looking Sommeliers to join the Mondrian team.



Job Description
 

The Sommelier is responsible to drive the development and execution of the hotel's beverage strategy, with a focus on elevating the guest experience through a carefully curated wine portfolio. Overseeing all aspects of financial management, including cost control, ensuring sales budgets and profit targets are consistently achieved and surpassed.

The main duties of this role include:

  • Create and maintain an innovative, comprehensive and sustainable Wine Program in line with Brand requirements and target audience. 
  • Develop partnership with suppliers and secure quality products. Source and procure wines from various regions, ensuring a well-balanced selection that caters to a range of preferences and budgets.  
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging wine regions to keep the wine program innovative and competitive.  
  • Analyse sales performance and Guest feedback to continuously refine and improve the wine selection and service. 
  • Lead efforts to maximise revenue by enhancing spend per head and consistently exceeding monthly revenue goals.
